Detailed product description of the L8 charger.
Xtar L8 with 8 independently functioning charging slots for 1.5V Li-ion and 1.2V NiMH batteries in size AA / AAA. Power is supplied by USB-C QC 3.0 18W input, a power supply is not included for the sake of the environment and to save costs. Can be connected to any 5V USB port (QC 3.0 18W recommended). There are already enough 5V USB ports available in every household alongside smartphones, USB chargers, PCs, power banks, laptops and car USB adapters. The 8 LEDs provide information about the charging process.

The 8 charging slots are independent of each other, you can flexibly combine 1.2V Ni-MH and 1.5V lithium batteries. The hollowed-out design, which significantly increases heat dissipation and makes it easier to remove the batteries, is unique, protects the batteries and makes a major contribution to the safe handling of batteries.

The following 1.5V lithium-ion battery types can be charged with the Xtar L8:
XTAR 1.5V lithium-ion batteries in size AAA or AA, with and without indicator.

The following NiMH battery types can be charged with the Xtar L8:
NiMH (1.2V) 1.5V: AAA and AA.

Detailed product description of the 1.5V Li-ion battery
The stable and high output voltage makes the 1.5 volt lithium-ion batteries compatible with all devices that are optimized for operation with disposable batteries and for which the low voltage of the NiMH battery causes problems. The high voltage results in high performance in many devices, e.g. many flashlights or fairy lights are brighter or motors (toys, kitchen appliances) run faster than with NiMH batteries.

The battery offers great advantages thanks to the low-voltage switch-off. Most applications do not have their own undervoltage shutdown, but do not damage the electronically regulated 1.5V Li-ion as is the case with NiMH/NiCd batteries. 1000 charging cycles are therefore quite possible with the 1.5V lithium-ion battery under real conditions.

Disadvantages: The electronic control only allows the discharge current specified in the key figures. The batteries can only be charged with a suitable charger.

Important: Charging from the 1.5V Li-ion. Batteries are only possible with a charger designed for this purpose. Charging with a conventional charger for NiMH/NiCD batteries is not permitted.
Chargers for Li-ion 1.5V batteries from other manufacturers are not necessarily compatible.
